This a casual worker position.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our Conferencing and Events team on a casual worker contract. In this flexible role, you will assist the team in managing conferencing and events, as well as supporting The Venue/Cinema. Experience with lighting and technical setups would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with responding to event enquiries and providing front-of-house services and back-office support.
- Manage event bookings from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Enter and update event details and customer information accurately using internal systems.
- Help with coordinating the BGU Events Calendar and promoting our services and facilities.
- Support the invoicing process, including taking deposits and finalising payments, in line with financial policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a variety of event details.
- Experience with event promotion through different communication channels.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment.
This is a casual, as-needed position with varying hours depending on events.
