We are seeking to appoint an Estates Maintenance Manager to join our busy Estates &amp; Campus Operations team. This is a critical and highly visible role, responsible for leading the delivery of reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance across the University estate.</p><p>You will play a key part in ensuring that our campus remains safe, compliant, and operating at its best, managing maintenance activities that are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with statutory legislation and best practice guidance. You&rsquo;ll also take ownership of maintaining accurate records and management information to support compliance, assurance, and continuous improvement across the Estates function.</p><p>A central part of the role will be acting as our technical lead for contractor and supplier management. You will oversee the procurement, appointment and performance management of contractors and service providers across a wide range of estates services. This includes driving high standards, managing supply chains effectively, and ensuring value for money alongside excellent service delivery.</p><p>We are looking for a technically strong, proactive professional who can bring significant mechanical and electrical experience, alongside a deep understanding of estates maintenance and compliance within a complex environment. You will be confident providing expert advice, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring that services are delivered to a consistently high standard.</p><p>The successful candidate will ideally hold a relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate substantial experience in a similar estates or technical management role. This is a full-time, maternity cover position for one year or until the post holder returns.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a burgeoning team, building on the successful implementation of a new student records system and building our support for the University&rsquo;s operations.</p><p>This is a role designed to support and develop the Student Support Systems within the University e.g., our student records systems, timetabling systems etc. &nbsp;You will work with a range of stakeholders, providing support and training, diagnosing, and responding to queries and issues related to Student Support Systems. You will undertake annual calendar of activities based around the student lifecycle and associated processes e.g. timetabling queries, assessment reporting, portfolio management on the student records system and on the Student Loans Company (SLC) portal.You will build knowledge and expertise around the student records systems in and its associated systems, integrations, and processes with a view to supporting the University&rsquo;s operations.</p><p>Working under the direction of the Student Systems Support Manager and other stakeholders you will proactively review and improve processes annually as a natural part of the annual processes.
