This post is offered for a senior lecturer for Education Studies at Grade 8 on a Teaching & Research contract and will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career and contribute to our ongoing success.

This post represents an opportunity to join the highly successful Education Studies programme at Bishop Grosseteste University as part of the enthusiastic and dynamic team. We are seeking an excellent and flexible teacher, who can contribute to the undergraduate programme in the subject. The postholder will need a demonstrable passion for student recruitment activity, alongside a commitment to providing a first-class student experience. 

The post carries responsibilities for learning, teaching and assessment of students for both a single and joint honours undergraduate programmes. 

Education Studies offers study of education in its widest sense, nationally and globally. The programme develops an understanding and knowledge of contemporary issues in education, debating education policy, the drivers of educational change in England today and critically considers different approaches to schools and schooling, both within the UK and internationally.
