Bishop Grosseteste University are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Student Recruitment Officer to join our Student Recruitment Team. As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will be expected to promote the University and its courses to a wide variety of audiences, including prospective students and parents. You will carry out a range of activities both locally and nationally, such as delivering presentations, representing BGU at national recruitment fairs (UCAS) and supporting Higher Education evenings. You will also build and develop relationships with a network of schools and colleges within a specific geographical area. The post will be central to delivering plans and initiatives linked with the University’s recruitment and enquiry targets and will include extensive UK travel.

All applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold a current UK driving licence.  Excellent customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, a methodical approach and a willingness to travel are essential requirements of the post. This role involves UK travel, some weekend work and evening work as well as overnight stays.
