In response to the comprehensive apprenticeship reforms over the past few years Bishop Grosseteste University is seeking an experienced Centre Manager who will play a pivotal role within this new area of the University.

You will be responsible for the management of all End Point Assessment services including the ongoing approval by external regulators and funding bodies.  The team will deliver high quality end point assessments to apprentices across a range of selected sectors and apprenticeship standards.  You will be responsible and accountable for the operational aspects of EPA services.  You will play a key role in the development, implementation and refinement of policies and processes as well as supporting the wider deployment of resources.

You will have line management responsibility for key staff who will deliver a range of operational functions including regulatory assurance, assessment delivery, employer engagement, Assessor/IQA recruitment and administration. 

To be successful in the role you will have a drive and determination to succeed and lead a team that will consistently exceed targets.  You will have experience of delivering work based learning and assessment of the highest standards and balancing the demands of employers, regulators and apprentices.  You will be innovative and creative with exceptional communication and negotiating skills.  You will be experienced and proactive whilst being confident in working with employers, training providers and apprentices with the ability to work well under pressure.

Please note this is a full time, fixed term position until 31 July 2021.
